Today's NDP celebrations has only one word to describe, sian or boring. Just this morning, I was asked to go home and change my attire just because I forgot that the top part must be red. After changing and coming back to school, the opening parade was already over...Although a little disappointed, I was lucky to have saw what the uniform groups have done the day before that is when they are in their half-uniform except theee Girl Guides. After that, just as usual, the national day speech and Mr Apollos talking. Next, we went up to the hall and there, we were first greeted by the Chinese and Indian dancers by their performances. The performance they put up was not a doubt nice and I enjoyed it somehow or rather. Next was a performance by two band groups. I forgot the name of the first band and the second band if I didn't remember wrongly, is called 1989(just not good in remembering numbers) The band performance was good except that the music and voice of the singers clashed together, making it harder to understand what they are singing.Nevertheless, I too enjoyed that. However at the last part of the celebrations, I didn't really enjoyed it alot. The last part of the celebrations was the sing-along session. Maybe it is because I didn't sing along with it and that is why I didn't enjoyed it. After the whole celebrations, I compared today's celebrations with the celebration I had when I was still in primary school. I found out that at the sing-along session, there are alot of national songs that were not being sung. And that is why I feel that the celebrations at my primary school at that time was much enjoyable than today's celebrations. Overall, being a primary school is much better than as a secondary school student cause of the freedom and less restrictions as compared to secondary school....
